- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon powder or 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp dried cloves or whole cloves
- 1 tsp ginger powder or 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1 cup raw honey

INSTRUCTION:
- Combine water, elderberries, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger in a large pot. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the flame, cover the pot and simmer until liquid reduces by half. Around 40-50 mins.
- Allow liquid to cool, then drain liquid through a fine mesh strainer or a cheese cloth.
- Using the back of a wooden spoons, press out the remaining liquid out of the berries
- Add honey and mix well.
- Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 months.
